Swamp Radio

Long ago I had a gig as a graveyard shift DJ at a community radio station here in Melbourne. It was a good time, playing my favourite tunes and talking about music, getting weird late night phone calls. Sometimes my buddy Paul would show up and we’d co-host. These days, of course, just about anyone can do their own version of a radio show via podcast or through one of the many streamed online radio programs, including Spotify. But here at Swamp Radio we’re more interested in the concept of a radio station. We like to ask ourselves: what would we do if we had our own radio station? What would we schedule? So here we present our own version of a radio station schedule, complete with sample episodes of some of the programs we’ve come up with, as an example of what you could do. Check them out to see what they’re about (some are obvious from the titles, some are not)! We’ll add more as we go along. And think about what you would include in your own radio station schedule.
